We all know how popular Apple is and the products that it is selling. Its most recent release of technological devices includes the iPad Air, iPad Mini with Retina Display, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Meanwhile, it also updated its leading iOS operating system into Mavericks. With all these strategies to further popularize the name of the company, the most recent news about the tech giant is the fact that is now gearing up in opening its first ever retail store in Brazil.
According to an inside source, Apple is opening its newest retail store around February and March. It will be an appropriate event since that is also the time that Brazil is going to hold the biggest party in one of its major cities. It will be the Carnival but, aside from that, there will also be the FIFA World Cup which is expected to happen just a few months later. If the tech company is aiming for a lot of audience, the said months are definitely timely.
However, there might also be a chance that the opening is delayed because of construction issues. In terms of staffing, it seems that Apple is planning on bringing some of their employees from the United States to Brazil for a temporary amount of time. This is to help and teach the future local workers of the right practices that they should incorporate in selling the company’s products. The retail store is specifically going to be located in the Village Mall of Rio De Janiero.
Apple already said in November last year that it was planning on building its branch in the South American country. In a statement, the company said that they are looking forward in founding their first ever store in Rio De Janeiro and selling their popular products. Since Brazil is starting to become one of the places in the world that provides a high revenue for smartphones and other gadgets like PCs, tablets and other electronic devices, it will be a positive thing for the iPhone and iPad makers when their store is finally opened. However, they still haven’t commented if the launch on the said months is true.
The latest reports are saying that the demand for the said gadgets is actually decreasing in the United States while increasing in South American and Southeast Asian countries. Therefore, consumers in these places should expect a lot of product releases and developments.
At present, Apple has working retail stores in at least 14 countries around the world. Most of these are located in Europe as well as North America. Obviously, when the store in Rio De Janeiro is opened, it will be the company’s first in the entire region of Latin America.
