The Samsung Galaxy Round is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The Galaxy Round is powered by a 2.3GHz Krait 400 CPU, Adreno 330 GPU and has 3GB of RAM. The LG G Flex uses the same chipset as the Samsung Galaxy Round. The LG G Flex is also equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. But since the LG G Flex has a 720p display, it has a lot lesser load with respect to displaying the pixels on screen. Hence the smartphone will be able to perform as good as the Samsung Galaxy Round.
WINNER – Draw (both are expected to have similar speed and performance)
The Samsung Galaxy Round runs on the latest version of Android, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. So right from the start, Galaxy Round consumers will be able to use the latest version of Android. Your worries might start only after Google makes Android 4.4 KitKat official.
The LG G Flex also runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean by default. Because of this, consumers will have to wait for the company to roll out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Hence consumers will not be able to enjoy the goodness of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right away, they will have to wait for LG to roll out the update.
WINNER – Samsung Galaxy Round (because it runs on the latest version of Android)
The Samsung Galaxy Round comes with 32GB of internal storage, and there is no other option available. But like every other Galaxy smart device, the Galaxy Round has a microSD card slot using which consumers can expand storage by up to 64GB. The LG G Flex also has a massive battery; that too even better than the one present on the LG G2. The G Flex has a 3500mAh battery that is expected to provide for long hours of usage. You can expect a talk time of up to 20 hours on 2G and 30 hours on 3G. You can also expect a standby time of up to 800 hours on 2G and 900 hours on 3G.
So in spite of having a smaller display, the Galaxy Round packs in way more juice than the LG G Flex. The Samsung Galaxy Round even beats the Galaxy Note 3 in terms of battery capacity.
WINNER – Samsung Galaxy Round (higher capacity and better backup)
