Do you still remember Motorola’s Moto X smartphone? If you followed its story since the company released this high-end gadget, you would know that some people were impressed about its features and disappointed at the same time that it will not be available in countries other than the United States. However, it was recently reported that Google and Motorola will team up again to produce a budget-friendly version of the Moto X. It will be called the Motorola Moto G which is going to be released in most in-demand countries.
Unfortunately, the Moto G had an early unveiling just a few days ago when the website GSMArena published some leaked images of the forthcoming mobile phone. To be precise, the image looked like a promotion card which included some major hardware specs and details about its operating system.
Display And Operating System
According to the article, the Motorola Moto G is going to exhibit 4.5 inches of diagonal screen size which will be edge-to-edge. It will sport 329 pixels per inch for its density and 720p screen resolution. Although the mobile handset will be supported at first by the Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean mobile OS, there is a huge chance that Motorola will update it to Android 4.4 KitKat in the future. The company itself confirmed in a statement that it is planning to upgrade all its mobile handsets to the latest version of the Android operating system.
Processor And Camera Feature
The leaked image on GSMAreana also shows that the Motorola Moto G will contain a Qualcomm CPU with four cores and clock speed of 1.2 GHz. In terms of its storage, this mobile phone will contain 8 GB of internal memory although we don’t know if it will be expandable or not. Finally, the Moto G will have both a primary and secondary camera. The primary will showcase 5 megapixels while the secondary will only have 1.2 megapixels. On the other hand, the mobile phone is also expected to be durable because of its external coating that is water-repellent while the battery will have a 1950 mAh capacity.
Additional Smartphone Details
There have already been early rumors that the Motorola Moto G – just like the Moto X – will also have “interchangeable back covers” as well as the dual SIM feature. Whether or not this is true, we just have to wait until the manufacturers release their official statement.
On the other hand, GSMArena also mentioned that the Moto G is likely to have £134.95 for its price. There are sources that were cited and you can just check it out on your own. We don’t know for sure but the website also predicted that it will be released during the holidays.
