The Motorola Moto G has made an unexpected appearance on the Internet. This time we have a leaked image from the popular Twitter source evleaks. The image almost confirms that specs and image of the upcoming handset and we might be just days away from the official unveiling.
So we finally have some interesting news for consumers who have been waiting for the so-called Motorola Moto G! Yes, this is the name of the device and it is a mid-segment smartphone targeted towards those who are looking out for a low priced Android smartphone.
Popular Twitter source evleaks was able to get his hands on a magazine image of the Motorola Moto G. The image clearly shows us the Moto G and the different specs that surround the handset in a neatly organized fashion.
As you can see in the image, the Motorola Moto G will have a 4.5-inch touchscreen edge-to-edge display. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and has a 720p screen resolution, which is common in almost every Motorola smartphone. The unit is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and has 8GB of internal storage. We are not sure whether the device will have support for a microSD card, but we do not have any expectations either.
On the back of the Motorola Moto G is a 5MP primary camera that supports 720p video recording and on the front is a 1.3MP camera. The smartphone will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box and will provide you with an almost stock experience.
There has been no information about the battery type and capacity, but reports have been saying that the Motorola Moto G will have a 1950mAh battery. The Moto G does not run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, but we are sure that Motorola will roll out the update soon. And similar to the Motorola Moto X, the Moto G will also be customizable up to a point. You might not exactly be able to choose everything, but a changeable back cover should be an option.
If you are looking forward to get your hands on this upcoming smartphone, then you should know that the Moto G will be priced somewhere near £135. This is the off-contract price so low and mid-segment consumers would definitely be interested in the offer.
