It happened before and now that it happened again, consumers are beginning to see a pattern and speculate. The would-be Google Nexus 8 was apparently seen a few days ago on the Google Play Store and it looked like a thinner device than the previous 2013 version of Nexus 7. A few days ago, Google also released its Nexus 5 smartphone but, before that happened, the company also had an accidental debut along with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Now, it seems that the online releases might not be accidental at all but this is just a speculation. If it is really unintentional, then Google is starting to gain a reputation for being too tolerant in letting information about their new products slip online.
What Will Happen To The Webcam?
At present, the Google Nexus 8 – if that is what it is going to be called – is already wiped out of the internet. The company replaced the previous details with the one concerning the Nexus 7 instead. However, tech experts have already theorized that the Nexus 8 might be a bigger device than its predecessor. Not only because it was the most obvious thing that the leaked image just emphasized but because the other rumors about it are mostly focused on the web camera. It seems that Google is planning on depriving the Nexus 8 with a webcam – which is located on the top-right corner of the Nexus 7
Google’s Collaborator And Partner
As of right now, we still do not have any idea who will generally manufacture the Google Nexus 8 – or whatever device Google will release following its tablet lineup. If you all can still remember, it was Samsung who made the Nexus 10 tablet – which is a full sized device – and Galaxy Nexus. Meanwhile, the Nexus 7 was loosely based on Asus’ MeMO device. Just last month, Asus released a next generation tablet called the MeMO Pad 8 and, of course, there is a possibility that the Nexus 8 will also be based from it. In the same way, Google can also collaborate again with LG. It manufactured the Nexus 5 and its G Pad is also a great contender in the market. Unfortunately, the leaked image looked quite a lot different than what we normally see in stores.
Rumors, Rumors And More Rumors
Since 8-inch devices started to roll out, it is not a surprise that Google will be releasing one of its own. Not only that, another Windows RT device is also being predicted to come out in the near future which will bear the name Nokia Lumia 2520. According to marketers and tech experts, the purpose of these future releases if they would ever happen is to compete against Apple’s iPad Mini.
