Samsung starts rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 in UK


We have good news for UK based Samsung Galaxy S3 consumers who have been eagerly waiting for a firmware update. Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the international version of Samsung Galaxy S3.

So once again, we have some exciting news for Samsung Galaxy S3 consumers – your smartphone will be up to date and new once again! There have been a number of reports from consumers situated in the UK saying that the update roll out has begun in the region. But then again, many of them have been complaining about slow download speeds and problems during the update process.

So to be on the safe side, we suggest that you back up your smartphone and then try upgrading to the new firmware. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will definitely bring a lot of new features and improvements to your smartphone, but it is more important to have a backup just in case.

Once you are ready for the update, you can go ahead and check for the notification id you haven’t got any yet. In order to do so, simply head to SETTINGS -> ABOUT PHONE -> SOFTWARE UPDATE. And if you do not get the update notification even after checking manually, you should just try again later.

And if you are not based in the UK, you might still get the update notification. Like always, Samsung has gradually started rolling out the android 4.3 Jelly Bean, so it should be available in your region some or the other time. We do not know how long you might have to wait, but we are sure that it won’t be too long.
