Motorola’s Moto Maker is not exclusive to AT&T anymore, now available on all major US carriers

Finally, Motorola’s Moto X customization suite, the Moto Maker is now available on all major US carriers. The Moto Maker is not exclusive to AT&T anymore, and as the rumors kept on indicating, we finally have the feature on all US based carriers.

For quite some time, AT&T consumers have had the privilege of using one of the most interesting and innovative smartphone assembly systems – the Moto Maker. Using this feature, consumers were able to customize their Motorola Moto X smartphones to the smallest possible detail

But this feature is not exclusive to AT&T anymore, meaning that every US based consumer who wants to customize his or her own Motorola Moto X smartphone can make use of Moto Maker in order to do so. They do not have to worry about the carrier network they use. You simply have to head to the Moto Maker website and customize your smartphone regardless of the service provider.

A majority of consumers must already know what the Moto Maker is all about. Even though you might not have used it, you know what it must be like. The Moto Maker is a customization platform that lets you shape your dream smartphone.

You get to pick the colors for the front and back panel of the smartphone as well as the accent colors that will go along with it. You can even add custom engraving on the backside, which could be your name, signature or almost anything you can think of. All this happens on the outside of the Motorola Moto X, i.e. the external shell part.

But there is a lot of customization you can do on the inside as well. For example, you can set your own custom greeting message and also add a custom wallpaper of your choice so that all this stays in system memory and you don’t have to worry about it. And if you are pretty sure about the Google account you will be using and do not intend to change it in the near future at least, then you can even get your Google account pre-setup on your Motorola Moto X.

So you can do almost anything and everything you wish, provided that your wishes are practical enough and doable using the Moto Maker. If you have been dreaming about setting up your own chipset and choosing a camera of your choice along with a massive battery that no other smartphone has, you will have to wait for a long period of time before being able to do so. Motorola has already started working on this concept and is working on the concept of Phonebloks to make this possible.
