If there is one thing that I can say for Toshiba, it is that it was able to join the competition for other electronic devices other than personal computers and laptops. For instance, the Toshiba Excite Pro is one of the members of its flagship lineup which it released to compete against the tablet industry. With a $483.99 price on Amazon, consumers who are interested in buying this tablet can expect that their wants and needs for a basic electronic device will be satisfied. Although it comes with its own faults, the Excite Pro definitely has clear benefits when it comes to its specifications.
Display Settings And Camera
This is only a short review and it is best to determine immediately the best features of one device. In this case, the Toshiba Excite Pro showcases 10.1 inches of diagonal screen size which is supported by an HD technology and LED Backlight. It showcases 2560 x 1600 pixels of resolution which is useful when reviewing photos, watching movies, streaming online content and playing games. Aside from that, the Excite Pro also has a decent camera feature. Its primary camera has 8 megapixels while the secondary has only 1.2 megapixels. If you are a consumer who does not need too much glamour in your device, this tablet is for you.
Hardware And Battery
The Toshiba Excite Pro contains an Nvidia Tegra 4 chip with two cores and ARM Cortex. It has an integrated graphical interface courtesy of the Nvidia GeForce. The RAM of the tablet comes in 2 GB while internal storage is at the maximum of 32 GB. Of course, users can still expand it using an external memory card that is compatible with the device. On the other hand, the Excite Pro’s battery is a non-replaceable 33Wh which, according to Toshiba, can last up to 11 hours. If this is true, then this could be one of the selling points that consumers will consider in buying this tablet.
Price And General Performance
If you ask the experts, the Toshiba Excite Pro is still overpriced. Even with a less than $500 price, it is not enough especially if you consider its performance on the general level. Apparently, according to the websites which tested the device, there are some instances where it just shuts down without reason. When doing certain tasks like playing games or watching videos, it also has the tendency to freeze the display or overheat the back. This means that if you want a less expensive device, you will not miss out if you chose another handset other than this tablet.
What makes the Toshiba Excite Pro a reasonable or not reasonable device?
