We have great news for Apple fans and consumers who are into music – Google has officially launched its popular music service on the Apple app store! Yes, Google Play Music is now available on the Apple app store and consumers how have been waiting for this day can go ahead and get the app right away!
Google Play Music is one of the best music services provided by any software company in the world. Not only is the service more flexible and appreciated, but it also provides a lot of options and freedom to consumers who use it. For those who do not know it yet, you can listen to millions of songs using Google Play Music, an app that allows you to surf through one of the biggest music library in the world. The app also allows you to upload up to 20,000 songs of your own so that you can listen to your stuff whenever and wherever you want. ‘Whenever, Wherever, you and your music will be together!’
Google launched this app on the Apple app store last Friday and consumers have been trying out the service with a lot of enthusiasm. Most importantly, the reason why you should get this app is because it’s free and powerful! Using the app, you can stream millions of songs, we don’t have the exact number but who cares. And yes, you can also create custom radio stations and have fun the way you want.
Now we do not want to start comparing Google Play Music app and its services with competitors right away, but trust us when we say that the winner is obvious. Similar to the Android operating system, this app provides a lot of freedom to consumers and there are very few limitations (if any). A simple example would be that unlike Apple’s iTunes Radio and Pandora, there are no skip limits on Google Play Music!
Now for the other fun part. If you love to carry your music everywhere you go and would want to access it using any of your devices, then Google Play Music service is the answer for you as well! We have already given out the number earlier – 20,000. So consumers can upload up to 20,000 songs of their choice on to the company’s cloud service. Once done, they will be able to access all these songs from any of the devices they use.
The Price you have to pay
When Google announced in May that it will bring the Google Play Music service to the Apple platform, the company also gave out a number of details about how the service would work and the offers that will be provided to consumers.
Google had even promised that this service would be available to iOS consumers by summer, but that’s history now so let’s out it aside for now. So if you are looking forward to using the Google Play Music service, there are some details that you need to know.
The app has a streaming function (Google Music All Access) that will let you stream songs online and will also allow you to download songs onto your device so that you can also listen to them when you are not connected to the Internet. Google offers a 30 days free trial on the All Access service, but after that time limit is over; you will have to pay a monthly fee of $10 in order to continue using the streaming service.
So we hope that you are excited and ready to check out this new music service and start using the same for as long as you like. And if you still aren’t convinced, take a look at what Google has to say:
‘Store up to 20,000 songs for free online and listen to them on your iPhone. The upload process is simple – you can select your iTunes folder during setup and we’ll build your library in the cloud. Or try All Access, our monthly music subscription service, which gives you an unlimited pass to a huge library of music. Create an ad-free, interactive radio station from any song or artist you love. Search for any artist from our collection of millions upon millions of songs and listen instantly. Browse recommendations from our expert music team and explore songs by genre. The “Listen Now” tab puts artists and radio stations we think you’ll like front and center so you can start listening the minute you open your library.’
