Snapdragon 800 Does Not Find Nvidia’s 4i a Challenge in the Market

Nvidia and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon are the largest chip makers in the world of innovations. You can find both of its products scattered in any brand of mobile device. During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, the other company confirmed that it’s not really going to be a big fight with Nvidia Tegra 4 and the soon to be released Tegra 4 between its very own Snapdragon 800. The company says it would be easy to defeat Nvidia. It’s confident to assume that it‘s already taken its lead in the market.

Snapdragon doesn’t think that the release of Tegra 4 will be a challenge for them. The Senior Vice President of Qualcomm, Mr. Raj Talluri explained that the company is not really spending much time to compete with Nvidia. Nvidia released their 72 core chip which is not a big deal for Snapdragon makers. It also stated that if Nvidia has Tegra 4, it has its own Snapdragon 800. During the congress, the two chips had a little match-up in its specifications.

The Snapdragon 800 is concluded to exude very high performance. It will also not consume a great amount of power as it is using quad Krait 400 CPUs which speed goes up to 2.3 GHz. Meanwhile, the Tegra 4i is the best competitor to the Snapdragon. It is also up to 2.3GHz and is equipped with an LTE modem. It is a 60-core chip that is half smaller than Snapdragon’s. In reality, the real basis is its performance in the real world. The Tegra 4 as well has an exceptional performance according to its makers but it has not released any statement about its highest speed yet. Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is confirmed to run ZTE new series of devices. After the release, conclusion from the users is expected.
