Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung has unveiled yet another mid-segment smartphone running on one of the latest versions of Android. This new smartphone has been named as the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro and is targeted towards consumers who are on a budget.
As you can see in the images added to the post, the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro has the exact same look and feel that you would expect from Samsung smartphones. The device looks very similar to the Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy Grand in general, and comes with similar specs and features as well. This new device was spotted on the company’s web portal in China, where we are able to identify some of its specs and features.
By the way, that wasn’t a direct comparison; so don’t get the wrong impression. All we wanted to convey is that the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro is just another Samsung smartphone when it comes to looks and design. And if you haven’t guessed it already, the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Win, but there really aren’t so many changes and improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy Win Pro has a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display and has a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels with a pixel density of 245 ppi. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Standard Graphics and is expected to have 1.5 GB of RAM. On the back of the device, you will find a 5MP primary camera and we are quite sure that the device will have a front-facing VGA camera (secondary camera). The battery on the Galaxy Win Pro is a little better than the one present on the Galaxy Win; so the new version has a 2100 mAh battery compared to the 2000 mAh battery of the older one.
Many of the technical details and features about the Galaxy Win Pro are not available yet, so you will just have to wait for some more time. Once all the data is available, we will bring you a detailed review of the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro and will also compare the same with the older variant, the 4.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Win.
The Samsung Galaxy Win Pro is expected to have internal storage options of 8 GB and 16 GB, and a microSD card slot is undoubtedly going to be on-board. The smartphone will be available in two variants, single-SIM and dual-SIM. The Samsung Galaxy Win Pro runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and that is decent enough for a mid-range smartphone.
If you have been impressed by the Samsung Galaxy Win, then the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro will not disappoint you as such. As mentioned earlier, there are a lot of details that we still do not know, so we will have to wait for the detailed review. So stay tuned and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
