We have great news for LG fans and consumers who have been waiting for the Korean smartphone manufacturer to start offering its latest flagship device in international markets. LG has started offering the LG G Flex in global markets and the expansion will start very soon.
LG announced that the LG G Flex would be available in different parts of the world starting from this month itself. Like the software updates, the roll out will be gradual and prices may vary depending upon regions. As of now, the smartphone will be available in key Asian markets after which it will also be offered in other regions around the world.
The smartphone will soon be available in your region, you just have to wait and watch. And yes, be sure to keep your money ready because a lot of consumers have been looking forward to getting their hands on the LG G Flex. For those who do not know, there was a time when some of the retailers were offering the LG G Flex in the US for as high as $1000 per unit!
Starting from the 8th of December, consumers in Singapore will be able to pre-order the LG G Flex and can expect deliveries to start soon. After Singapore, it’s going to be consumers based in Hong Kong who will get a chance to get the LG G Flex through most of the major carriers and retailers in the region.
Other regions should get the device by the end of the year, and it all depends on LG now. The company has to ensure that there is enough stock available and that all major markets are covered as soon as possible.
The LG G Flex is one of the most innovative smartphones of the year 2013! Unlike the Samsung Galaxy devices, the LG G Flex is not only innovative on the inside, but also on the outside! For instance, the device has a flexible Plastic OLED (P-OLED) display that has a slight curve and can bend to some extent as well. The LG G Flex is the first smartphone to use this kind of display. The smartphone also has a unique self-healing back that will automatically recover from minor scratches and other damages.
When it comes to hardware, the LG G Flex is very much similar to the LG G2. A number of specs and features are directly borrowed from the G2, and you can check out the specs of the device right here.
