HP Announced the Launching of Its New Mini Desktops


With all the innovations going on in the world of technology, a constant upgrade is needed to stay in line with the competition. The usual updates we usually hear and see are the updates on smartphones and tablets. Well, it is not a surprise since these are two of the most popular gadgets across the globe. Along with the fast-paced development and updates, Hewlett-Packard (HP) started to develop an upgraded and much better version of its desktops, which are the mini desktops.

Now, the company aims to provide much more convenient products to its customers by offering a lightweight desktop.

Now, the company wants to make everything convenient by offering a mini personal computer. The company shrinks its full-sized computers into mini desktops without giving up any of the important components. This means that both the full-sized computers and the mini computers are completely operational.


So, what are the latest desktop models of HP? These are the new ProDesk 600 G1 and EliteDesk 800 G1 mini desktops. HP says that these models are there smallest business desktop computers yet. Just like its full-sized desktop computers, these models are fully operational and it comes with the complete components the full-sized desktop computers have. These mini desktops only weigh 95 grams. These can also be held just by using your one hand. Their size is truly convenient, considering the fact that they offer the same perks as the full-sized desktops do.

What to Expect From These Mini Desktops?

These mini desktop computers come with the latest components, which include the memory, storage and the Haswell Intel’s Core processors. These models also have built-in wireless capabilities, customized HP motherboard (that comes with an Intel Q87 chipsets) and a slot for the solid-state drives. The ProDesk 600 G1 comes much more affordable compared to the Elite Desk 800 G1. The ProDesk 600 G1 can be bought at a starting price of $489 while the EliteDesk 800 G1 can be bought at a starting price of $669. The ProDesk 600 G1 is targeted at entry users while the EliteDesk 800 G1 is targeted at power users. HP announced that both these mini desktops will be available in the month of April 2014. For sure, these mini desktop computers will be a big hit.
