Google has made changes to the Google Nexus 5 hardware; better speakers and improved buttons

We have an interesting update for consumers who are planning to get their hands on the Google Nexus 5 flagship smartphone! Google seems to have come up with a new and improved version of the Nexus 5 smartphone that takes care of a number of design issues present in the original model.

Before we begin, we want you to know that there has been no official confirmation about this new model from Google or LG. But a number of differences have clearly been spotted and you can see them on the Internet. The new smartphone might have enough changes and updates in order to get qualified for a new name – Google Nexus 5s.

Now let’s get to the main point. Since there is a new model out there in the market, consumers will definitely be interested in knowing about the changes that have been made. So first of all, if you happen to be an existing Nexus 5 consumer, you don’t have to worry a lot. There are no hardware changes when it comes to internal parts like chipset, internal storage or camera sensor. All the differences are on the outside; to be more specific it’s based on the body of the device.

The main reason why Google seems to have made these changes is to improve the overall build and quality of the exterior body and provide an even better user experience. The new smartphone features larger speaker and microphone holes and at the same time also has better quality buttons.

These changes were first noticed by a new Nexus 5 consumer at the xda developer forum who recently purchased the flagship smartphone. We know that you might be excited about the new model, but there are some drawbacks as well. It is being said that the new model has a display that is more hued in yellow, and at the same time consists of some green stuck pixels.

It is good to see that Google and LG have together taken the necessary step to refine the Nexus 5. In spite of making necessary changes, it’s sad to see that a new set of problems have emerged on the new model. Did the companies not perform enough testing in order to ensure that they deliver a quality product or is this the best that they could provide for the low price tag.
