Moto X just got a lot more exciting and too hard to ignore. Motorola is now giving away a free Chromecast with every Moto X.
Last week Motorola slashed the off contract price on Moto X by dropping it from $549 to $399 on most carriers with Republic Wireless offering the Moto X for $299. If the reduced price wasn’t enough, the company is now offering a free Chromecast wireless video-streaming dongle with the purchase of Moto X. That’s what we call a cool ‘double deal.’
This offer is available on an unlocked off-contract version and can be claimed on the 16GB and 32 GB models. So that makes it $399 for a 16GB model and $449 for a 32GB model.
With Motorola trying for the fourth time in the last few months to build consumer interest in the Moto X, it appears that the company is having trouble selling the handset. Although that may not really be the case, it does look like a possibility. Whatever be the reason, it is surely aimed at giving out more Moto X handsets and Chromacast devices to consumers and build up the demand.
Motorola is a subsidiary of Google which is run as an independent company. Google is working hard on building greater demand for Chromecast compatible apps by making it available to more and more people. Google’s future plans for Chromecast includes having it plugged into HDMI ports of televisions which lets users stream content from multiple device platforms. We also hear that Google is finalizing a Chromecast Software Development Kit with an aim to help manufacturers build Google Cast into their consumer electronics.
If you are looking for a good handset, this is the right time to spend your money and availa the offer. This offer is valid until January 14 so you may have to hurry up a bit in order to grab the tempting Moto X and the Google Chromecast of course. A sweet deal we must say!
