All the speculations about the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 may finally be coming to an end as Samsung is all set to unveil its upcoming flagship at the Mobile World Congress on February 24, 2014.
Previously, there were divergent views about the launch since there were a section of individuals who believed that the device was expected to be released in the month of March; similar as to what happened during the launch of Samsung Galaxy S4. It was during the last year that Samsung decided to go forward along with its plan of skipping MWC for the launch of the S4. Instead, the launch of Galaxy S4 took place at the Times Square in the month of March.
MWC 2014 Launch
There is an obvious hint that Samsung has put in the invitation which points to the fact that the Galaxy S5 will launch at MWC 2014. The number 5 is written besides the word ‘Unpacked’ in bold. It is not rocket science in being able to understand that the hint primarily refers to the launch of the upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S5.
Snapdragon 805 Chipset
It all possibility, Samsung Galaxy S5, is most likely to feature a 2560x1440p QHD S-AMOLED display. The stunning resolution will likely be on a screen of 5.25-inches. The latest and the greatest Snapdragon 805 chipset will power the Galaxy S5. Apart from the primary features, a 16 MP rear camera is expected. The phone will naturally run on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat as a flagship cannot afford to launch on 4.3 Jelly Bean.
There were also reports that the Galaxy S5 may launch with an iris scanner. Others are saying that the S5 may be coated with diamond. It is natural to be bombarded with hundreds of rumors and speculations before the launch of a flagship smartphone. However, nothing can be confirmed at this point until the device officially launches. Samsung may choose to surprise us all and unravel a killer feature with the S5.
