Perhaps the production of smartwatches will be the main goal of technology companies this year. Sony did their part last year with producing their own smartwatch but wasn’t known very much for its good performances. However, Sony released a new software update for this smartwatch and they promise that it will offer a smoother interface and 6 new watch faces, besides this it will fix some stability issues.

There are other improvements too, including aerodynamic way to go through almost 200 applications available for download, it has a better battery life and better preview of notifications.

This smartwatch is made by Sony and if you want to buy it, you’ll need to pay $150. It’s powered by Android and it has some cool features and functionality, but everyone thinks of it like it’s some kind of a device in progress. It weighs 439.4 oz and its 1.42 inches tall, 1.42 inches wide and 0.3-inch thick. It has a 1.3-inch OLED display and with 128 x 128 pixel resolution. A big disadvantage is that the display is reflective even on the slightest sunlight, making the smartwatch hard to use when you wear it outdoors. It has a pretty good design, especially on the back where the device is softly shaped with white surface. Here you can find the clip which is usable for attaching it to standard different wristbands from other watches or to your pocket.

This smartwatch is mostly used as a remote control for smartphones ran by Android. So how can this feature help you? – Imagine yourself sitting on a date with a girl you’re quite serious about and your phone rings? – This is when the smartwatch takes part and takes control of the whole situation. The phonebook and missed call application will provide you to see who is calling, reply with text message that you are busy, or it will enable you to answer the call if you have the proper ear bud connected. It’s really fun and cool gadget – helpful, as well. To set up the smartwatch you need to download the Sony LiveWare manager and activate the Bluetooth mode on it.

If you are a die-hard Android fan and gadget lover, this is the thing for you. You will have lot of fun using it. And now with this software update, all the bugs and inconveniences are history and you can fully enjoy it. It has stylish looks and offers wide range of Wi-Fi functions enabled by the Bluetooth connection from your smartphone so there won’t be any problems with the connectivity.
