Finally, all rumors came to an end with the revealing of the Facebook Android Phone on today’s event. After this, we will not hear any speculations about this ‘mysterious’, Facebook-based phone that has been rumored for so long. The company has announced that Facebook Home for Android will come to new phone made from HTC and its called HTC First. Despite all of Mark Zuckerberg’s denials on the rumored phone, the device has still come out of the dark.

The name isn’t put like this by accident. This phone is the first Facebook optimized phone in the globe. This HTC First fully Facebook synchronized smartphone will be launched on April 12 2013 for a decent and affordable price of $99.99 and the carrier who will support the phone is AT&T. The design will be available in several colors, and they are white, red, black and pale blue and according to them it will be made big, but not that big like you have imagined right now.

Regarding the phone, HTC said that it will bring you the best Facebook experience and will be the only phone out there with fully synchronized and optimized Facebook Home. This means that emails, notifications and calendars will be built-in to this phone or Facebook Home to be exact. HTC First is the first phone which will be shipped with Instagram as a preloaded feature.

HTC and its carrier AT&T didn’t reveal the full specifications about the phone but this is what’s known so far. The HTC First will be equipped with 4.3-inch flat display and it will run on Android 4.1 OS Jelly Bean with the brand new Facebook Home announced experience. It will be powered by dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip processor and it will be carried as we mentioned earlier by AT&T’s LTE 4G network. This phone is not as powerful as others, but that was the main point. It belongs to mid-level smartphones made by HTC and Android’s standards fully customized for bringing the best from Facebook Home.

This is the second time that Facebook and HTC are collaborating for making Facebook-related phone. The first time this kind of collaboration didn’t get the proper appreciation from the users and the selling has been stopped. We are talking about HTC Salsa and Cha-cha. More experienced than the last time, they have put the things in other, more different direction. This phone will be the basic smartphone which will come with built in Facebook features but Zuckerberg has announced that everyone who is using Android based smartphone will be enabled to download this Facebook Home for Android from the Play Store.
