Wrapping up the Rumors of Android


Lots of rumors are affecting Android in the past weeks and we decided to make a wrap up of all the rumors which included the powered notebook, Samsung mega devices and the new Nexus 7. So, let’s take a look.

Android devices that has been confirmed:

1. HTC First (April 4)

This device belongs to the line for the longest rumored devices out there and this phone finally became a reality and as you know it will be fully Facebook-synchronized smartphone. The carrier of this phone will be AT&T and it will be officially out on the store shelves on April 12 and you’ll need to pay $99 in order to purchase this Facebook smartphone.

2. HTC Desire Q (April 4)

This device is introduced as the best entry-level smartphone for Taiwan. It will be supported by 4.0 Ice Cream OS and it’s equipped with 4-inch display, 1GHz processor chip powered by 512MB RAM.

3. HTC Desire P (April 1)

HTC has been busy this month and they have released yet another handset device which runs on ANdroid 4.0. It includes 4.3-inch LCD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, and internal storage of 4GB. It’s equipped with 8-mpix camera and this phone will still remain in Taiwan.

4. LG Lucid 2 (April 2)

This phone was introduced by Verizon and it will be available for free if you make a two-year deal with this service. It runs on 4.1 Jelly Bean and it’s equipped with 4.3-inch display, it has 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor powered by 1GB of RAM.

March 3 – April 5, 2013

1. Samsung Galaxy Mega (April 2)

As we all know, Samsung is a big fan of releasing big screen smartphones and according to SamMobile this device will feature a 5.8-inch display and it should be available somewhere in May.

2. Android based notebooks (April 2)

These rumors were started by Digitimes which suggested that Google is making a PC for this platform that could be launched in the third quarter. This will be one of the Pichai’s newest projects and as it looks like Google will take large boost ahead into the PC market.

3. Nexus 7 refresh (April 3)

This next generation Nexus 7 is scheduled to arrive somewhere in July. For this device, Google will employ Asus for manufacturing the devices and Qualcomm will replace Nvidia like maker of the chips.

4. LG Optimus G2 (March 29)

There were some leaked rumors that this device will be including Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it will be powered by quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor with 2 GB of RAM. Also it will have a 5-inch full HD display and 13-mpix main rear camera.

5. Casio C88 Gz (April 1)

This device was spotted in some FCC documents, and as it looks like Verizon will be the carrier. This Casio military device will include LTE and CDMA support along with Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth.

These are the most recent rumors for Android, there are more out there but we decided that these are the most recent and looking forward for others. I have picked some of the most interesting rumors that should come out next.

1. Android 5.0

We can expect this new Android OS to be launched somewhere in spring. It will be named Key Lime Pie OS and maybe we can expect the first Octa chip processor to be included in the first tablet or smartphone.

2. Samsung Galaxy PP (pocket-plus) (January 15)

This release its unnecessary because we have seen that Samsung is doing great with their large sized smartphones. It will run by Android 4.0.4 and it will have 2.8-inch TFT display. First, it will be offered in Latin America and than in other markets.

3. Amazon Kindle Phone (December 17)

Amazon kindle is making a phone? – I like to see what will come out from this rumor which was announced in December and from then we didn’t see any further rumors. It will be expected somewhere in June or July and it will cost from $100 to $200 per device.

Like we said earlier, there are more and more rumors we are getting every day. These were the most interesting which were circulating the web at the moment.
