Destocked Nexus 4 May be Replaced by New Google Nexus Phone

Google stayed quiet about their plans with the Nexus lineup but some rumors are saying that maybe we’ll see something new from this company very soon. I don’t know if this rumor made some of the carriers remove this present Nexus 4 device off their retailer shelves but they are doing that one by one. We can use this also as an indication that Google will launch its next big thing as the other companies.

The thing is, the traditional conference for developers for Google is scheduled to take place next week and speculations are getting stronger that Google will present many updates on that conference. As the rumors say, these updates will include the new Nexus 5 device fully produced by Google. However, the replacement will eventually come this year but will that moment be next week, we just need to wait and see.

The retailers which we mentioned earlier are Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse. But this is not the only indication about the replacement. Some of the carriers that offered this phone online are reducing their sales also and when we wanted to try to order the phone a message showed up saying that this device is out of stock.

We put ourselves in a position to predict that the next generation which will replace the present Nexus 4 will be called Nexus 5 but this company maybe will surprise us with something else. Many of the other analysts have said that they expect a lot from this year’s I/O conference for developers and revealing new device will be really a great thing to see.

Not very long ago, maybe a month, we saw some leaked images about a new device from Google which was said that it will be the next Nexus 5. We didn’t give so much thought about it but as soon as we are here on the verge for the new Nexus, it’s worth mentioning it again. From what we saw back then, this new device from Google may have a 5.2-inch OLED display. It was shown that it will be powered by 2.3 GHz Snapdragon processor and 3GB of RAM. Two cameras, a 16-mpix main camera and a 2.1-mpix front-facing camera and it will include great battery life supported by 3,300 mAh polymer battery. The design is expected to be slightly different with only few details changed.

The event is next week, we will see if Google makes this step or will leave up the unveiling of the device for couple of months later.
