Images Leaked on the Net for HTC Butterfly

Right after the release of a couple of devices, HTC continues its great work and hard efforts on the field. When HTC One was released, a representative said that there will be more devices that will hit the market this year but they are expecting this smartphone to be ground-breaking. I have to say that I’m really surprised how this company is handling on the market. As time passes, they are moving much closer to the two leading companies on the smartphone market.

New images have leaked on the web, which are showing the next HTC Butterfly device. We are less than a week away from the already scheduled Android-based phone revealed by the same company. HTC tried to be secret about it but tech sources managed to find out some details. According to VR-Zone, a Chinese blog site, this company is set to launch its new 5-inch version smartphone with a 1080p screen.

As the source said, this HTC Butterfly will have Droid DNA and a front design with 2 speakers. The audio feature will include some upgrades from company’s new BoomSound tech. The interesting part is that HTC Butterfly will be a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 because it will have a 5-inch screen with a 1920×1080 resolution. The source added that there will be a new interface design but no details of the hardware specs.

The launch of this smartphone is scheduled for June 19 in Taiwan.

HTC always knew how to impress their customers with the launch of new devices. I expected a big screened smartphone from them because HTC One has somehow predicted that.

The company seems impressed by the HTC One demand so far and they are expecting the sales to reach higher levels after the end of Q2. With this new HTC Butterfly, the company is entering in the smartphone market field with serious competitors.

This phone is expected to continue the great HTC Droid DNA deal that has a quad-core processor and 4G LTE network. We can expect this new HTC Butterfly to include a faster processor and the same smooth design.

Verizon will most probably remain the official carrier of this phone because it carries the Droid DNA. You can still get this device for $199.99 with a 2 years deal. There are no suggestions of the price but I expect to have an equal price tag.
