The New Nexus 7 Tablet: Images Leaked Show More Features

Google is set up to held its previously scheduled event on July 24. Lots of expectations are gathered before this event and the biggest of all is the possible new Nexus 7 tablet. We saw many speculations circling this device saying that it will come faster and stronger than its predecessor. We already saw some leaked images showing its design, which was not that different than the current Nexus 7, and few specs details. This new report shows us something different and possible specs for the upcoming device.

Like we mentioned earlier, the next Nexus 7 will outburst the current model with faster processor and two cameras, at least this is what we noticed from the newly leaked images. This new image maybe showed much more than any other rumors that we saw before. According to it, this Nexus 7 will be manufactured by Asus it will have a 7-inch display and run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. This OS version is not yet officially launched as we expect it to be revealed at this event. It will be equipped with a 1.5 quad-core processor chip. This new Nexus 7 will have a main camera with a 5-mpix shooter and a 1.2-mpix front-facing camera.

Wireless charging is mentioned as possible new feature for this tablet. This feature has been rumored to be included in many devices but we had no luck of seeing it so far. It will feature Slim port that will let its users connect this tablet to a TV and play HD video with 1080p. Just for comparison, the current Nexus 7 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, has a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU and 1GB of RAM and a single front-facing camera.

This image was spotted by Engadget and until now there isn’t any confirmation by Google. We had an uncovered tidbit by Android Central previously showing us a device with two cameras, 5-mpix and 1.2-mpix. This is the only feature that matches with this new leaked picture. The other features that have been leaked by this unnamed source for Android Central includes Qualcomm motherboard with a Snapdragon processor, stereo speakers and possible 4GB of RAM.

There are only 4 days left to see if these speculations are true. On this breakfast event by Google we definitely expect to see new Android version and couple of new devices possible Nexus tablets. This event will be held in San Francisco and maybe, we will see the most-rumored Moto X smartphone and new Chromebook. Our team will be reporting shortly after the event ends so all you need to do is visit us again on July 24.
