Today, Google showed a touch-screen, shiny laptop which it specifically built and designed to run in Chrome’s operating system. In the past few days, there was a leaked video about this and it got people skeptical if this is a real product or just an obvious trick. Now that the laptop is shown to the public, it is a big attraction which is what Google exactly needs. At a press event, the search engine giant of Mountain View, California unveiled its new laptop called Pixel Chromebook. It has the highest resolution that the market would ever find available on any laptop. According to its Senior Vice President, Sundar Pichai, its clear touch has come to stay today and it will be the next best thing in the future.

The Chrome’s operating system, Pixel Chromebook, needs a consistent data connection for it to be able to work properly. As of now, the search giant has four manufacturers coming up with laptops using its operating system such as HP, Acer, Lenovo and Samsung. What is the main attraction of these laptops? Many have guessed that they will love the attraction in terms of the price as the laptops are offered at affordable prices. For one, Chromebook of Acer only costs £199.

The leaked video which is believed to be designed by Google itself appears as a very compelling promotional video for the yet to be announced product. It was first seen in the YouTube Channel of Slinky.Me, a company that was founded two years ago with the mission of building the world’s biggest visual guide. This company, according to the CEO, Victor Koch, is a victim of hackers. The servers of the company had been hacked. This person has on this Facebook page added Google as among his past employers which possibly explains why there was a leak of the promo video on the YouTube channel of his company. Also, this person has tagged Sergey Grin, Google co-founder on his posting in Google+.

So much for the leaked video, Google’s Pixel Chromebook has more than four million pixels affording the laptop with the highest resolution display. It’s expected to be one of the closest rivals of Retina Display from Apple on its newest MacBook Pro which has a resolution of 2560×1700 pixels. According to the Pixel Chromebook narrator in the leaked video, the more pixels are added to the product, the more wonderful the world would feel about it. Google refused to give out comment on the leaked video but it’s quite sure that the consumers will soon find the laptop in the displays together with other new items that are to be launched and those which were launched just a few days or weeks ago.
