Recently, a new video surfaced on the Internet, showing us the new version of Google’s Android operating system – Android 4.4 KitKat. The video also showed a number of Google employees gathering outside the campus to check out the new Android 4.4 KitKat statue placed in the garden area. But did you notice something special other than Android KitKat in this video? Something like the upcoming Google Nexus 5 smartphone.
Yes, that’s true, even though Android 4.4 KitKat is supposed to be the hottest news right now, Google’s very own smartphone might be stealing this privilege from it. The reason being that the Android 4.4 KitKat video actually shows us a number of Google employees using a completely new version of Google Nexus smartphone.
As you can see in the video and the image that actually focuses on that particular part of the video, you will notice that the Google Nexus 5 smartphone present in the hands of these Google employees is quite different from the already available Google Nexus 4. And if you still haven’t noticed the most interesting part – look at the image again! Both the employees have a different Google Nexus smartphone.
The device on the left side (held by the man in green t-shirt) is slightly bigger than the device on the right side (the one held by the woman in blue). And the bigger device also has the word ‘NEXUS’ written in a landscape orientation whereas the other device has it in portrait orientation. The camera lens on this device look big, indicating that we might have something special coming our way very soon.
All this is enough proof for us to believe that the device is none other than the Google Nexus 5, the company’s next-gen flagship device. But the interesting part starts now – did this happen all of a sudden or did Google actually plan for this? The reason for this doubt is that the image and video is too obvious and the one shooting the same would also have noticed something like this. If he were to be a Google employee, then he would not have wanted to leak the video and let the world know about what Google has been working on.
But whatever be the case, we are totally excited to know more about this new Nexus smartphone. Google has given us not one, but two great news – the Android 4.4 KitKat and Google Nexus 5. The only difference is that the first news is official but the second one isn’t.
