Intel has been really working hard to improve their line of processors. They even recently strengthened their ties with Google, the maker of Chrome OS. One of the first recipients of the new processor from Intel is Hewlett-Packard (HP), which launched their new Chromebook 14 at the Intel Developer Forum happening in San Francisco. The new Chromebook 14 from HP is said to be run by Intel’s new Haswell processor, another innovation from the chip company.

Amazingly Improved Battery Life and Power Consumption

According to its manufacturer, the Chromebook 14 can last up to a whole day. This is because of the new and improved processor from Intel. Intel has been working on new processors to attract some clients other than Microsoft. The Intel Haswell processor that belongs to the fourth generation of Core chips is believed to consume power lesser which helps in preserving battery life by an estimate of two times over old generations.
