Apple has finally confirmed the rumors that it will be releasing the first ever iPhone handset with a lower price and with colorful hard cases. We’re talking about the iPhone 5C, which will be released together with the iPhone 5S this September 20.

The company and all of the mobile carriers around the world have started accepting orders for the iPhone 5C. The presales event started before the iPhone 5S presales schedule. According to reports, Apple is closer to its quota in meeting its expected sales for the iPhone 5C.

iPhone 5C is Just a Remake of the Previous iPhone 5

The iPhone 5C is the first ever handset from Apple that is available in different vibrant colors. It’s actually a sign that the company is now trying to reach the averaged-level consumers. We can freely choose from blue, pink, yellow, red and green colors that look very vibrant and will never look outdated. It doesn’t have the metal case of the high-end iPhone handsets, but it has a polycarbonate hard case that still looks elegant and sturdy.

It has an 8 megapixel camera and has an average retina display. But, it only has a descent 1.2 megapixel camera in front, which doesn’t appear interesting for most of the consumers. Its camera seems to be copied from the camera specifications of the previous iPhone 5. It will also be running the iOS 7, which is the latest operating system that Apple has to offer.

The iPhone 5C is expected to maintain the speed of the iPhone 5 and it is also powered by an A6 processor. However, it’s expected to be a notch slower than the new iPhone 5S. The higher-end iPhone handset is equipped with an A7 processor and it’s expected to be really fast.

The iPhone 5C is also competitive when it comes to connectivity features. It is an LTE capable handset. It will work really fast with 4G networks as well. This is one of the features that outdated the previously released iPhone 5. iPhone 5 isn’t LTE capable and there is no option for it to connect faster with 4G networks.

iPhone 5C also has a fair battery life. When maintained properly, it should last for 250 hours without opening any heavy applications. It can also last for at least 10 hours of talk time. It will also last for 10 hours when browsing the internet using wireless connections.

Everyone was expecting that it’s going to be an incredibly cheaper iPhone handset. However, many were disappointed when it’s still available for more than a hundred dollars. You can only get it at a cheaper price when you avail it with a contract from any of the mobile carriers.
