The Apple iPhone 5S has a 4-inch LED-Backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. The device has a screen resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels and pixel density of 326 ppi. The display has an oleophobic coating and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 441 ppi. The display on the smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The dimensions of the iPhone 5S are 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6mm whereas the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 are 136.9 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm.
The Apple iPhone 5S weighs 112 grams whereas the Samsung Galaxy S4 weighs 130 grams.
The Apple iPhone 5S brings a number of new features and improved specs when compared to the iPhone 5. This also means that the Galaxy S4 now faces a tougher competition. But in the end, it’s all about preferences.
The Apple iPhone 5S is indeed an excellent device; it provides you with one of the highest levels of security using a fingerprint sensor that’s built right into the home button. It comes with all the goodness of the iPhone 5, but with some really good improvements (faster processor, better camera and battery backup).
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S4 provides you with the latest version of Android OS and is one of the best options for consumers looking out for a 5-inch smartphone. The device is fast and powerful, and with some tweaking here and there, it will be able to provide a much better battery backup as well.
