Smartphone manufacturer Jolla has finally given out the official specs and features of its new smartphone called Jolla. Yes, the smartphone is simply called Jolla and was announced some time back. The smartphone got a lot of attention from a number of consumers, courtesy of its simple design and looks.
If you have not heard or seen this new Jolla smartphone yet, then its time you take a look at it. Even though the Jolla smartphone might not be your type, it has been attracting a lot of attention. The device has a 4.5-inch ‘Estrade’ display with a decent screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, standard graphics and has 1GB of RAM.
It is quite obvious that the Jolla smartphone is not a high-end device, but it still manages to provide a decent camera and storage options. The device comes with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB. The device consists of an 8MP shooter on the back and a 2MP shooter on the front. The device runs on Sailfish OS that is based on gestures and a 2100mAh user replaceable battery keeps the lights on.
By the way, it has also been said that the smartphone’s operating system will be optimized so that it can support Android applications. Jolla said that this smartphone device will be priced at 399 euros (around $540) and will be available to consumers by the end of the year.
