HTC has officially started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for its flagship device, the HTC One. The update is available internationally and is being rolled out gradually. HTC One consumers will be very happy to know that the company has kept their promise and delivered the update that consumers have been waiting for.
Just a few days ago, HTC said that it would roll out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One. And just as promised, the company did roll out the update. A number of HTC One consumers have seen the update notification pop up on their device and hence confirm the same. A number of users on the xda-developers forums have also reported that they are getting the update on their smartphone.
HTC has been one of the most innovative smartphone manufacturers in the world, but the company has been having a hard time trying to keep up with the competition. HTC’s flagship device, the HTC One is trying to compete against other high-end smartphones but at the same time HTC has been facing supply issues every now and then. The company was late to release the HTC One and even after that was not able to maintain a regular supply chain.
So with all that being said, we have something to say to all HTC One consumers. If you haven’t got the update notification yet, you can check the same manually by going to Settings -> About phone -> Software update. Once you do get the notification, go ahead and download it. Let us know if the update has new and interesting features.
But in case you are not able to get the update notification yet, we suggest that you try again later as the roll out is expected to be gradual. You region might not be in the list of regions to get the update initially, so just wait and keep checking.
