Today we compare two of the best Android smart devices that Samsung has to offer. The Samsung Galaxy S4 goes head to head with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
When it comes to smart devices, Samsung has become of the best manufacturers in the market. The Korean company has risen to a level where even the almighty Apple is having a difficult time trying to catch up. This year, the company came up with two new amazing Android devices, the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
It is now time to put these two devices head to head and find out the better of the two. The Samsung flagship smartphone versus the Samsung flagship phablet – this is a battle you don’t want to miss, so let’s begin.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is equipped with the Exynos 5 chipset. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz Cortex-A15 processor and a 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor, PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU and has 3GB of RAM. The Note 3 is the first smart device from Samsung to feature 3GB of RAM, raising the bar for all other smartphone manufacturers.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box and has Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S4 is being gradually rolled out.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box and has Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it. So Galaxy Note 3 consumers do not have to worry about updating the device, not at least till Android 4.4 KitKat is out.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has an even higher capacity Li-Ion battery, 3200mAh to be specific. We do not have the battery performance stats for the Note 3 either, but considering the way in which the Note 2 went on and on, the Note 3 should perform no different.
The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 are 136.9 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm whereas the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 weighs 130 grams whereas the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 weighs 168 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 are both high-end smart devices and the hardware specs and features mentioned above confirm the same. But even at that high level, we are able to list out a number of differences between the two devices.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a bit bigger and slightly thicker than the Galaxy S4, but it packs a huge amount of power in this small volume. The Galaxy Note 3 runs on a much advanced processor (both faster and powerful) and will give you performance that can easily outclass the Galaxy S4. It even packs an extra 600mAh of battery, as a result of which the Galaxy Note 3 grows in weight. There are a number of advantages that the Note 3 has over the Galaxy S4, so we will just list them out for you here.
