It was said that on Wednesday, the famous Martha Stewart had a tragic situation with her iPad device. She accidentally dropped her Apple device during the said evening and found her device to have broken corners.
Martha Stewart surely had a feeling of sudden adrenaline rush at that time because her iPad was personally given to her by Steve Jobs. Well, who doesn’t know Steve Jobs anyway? So, everyone would probably understand how bad she felt at that time.
Martha Stewart Shared Her Disappointment on Tweeter
“What to do? Does one call Apple to come and pick it up or do I take it?”
Quoted above is the first tweeter post that the famous icon shared on the said social networking site. The message remained to be calm and didn’t seem to have any problem until she finally posted her second and third tweet.
“I am still waiting for an Apple rep to come pick up my iPad. No action yey.”
“Maybe I have had a good entrepreneurial idea? Apple now? Like same day delivery from Amazon? I think I am on to something. Same day fix it!!”
The two quoted statements above were the second and third messages that Stewart posted on Twitter. The last two posts were also the reason why she finally caught Apple’s attention. We would understand if her posts were noticed by Apple because it would highly affect the customer service ratings and the feedback surveys of the company.
It should have been alarming for the company knowing that Martha Stewart has more than 2 million followers on the social media platform. She actually has 2.9 million Tweeter followers to be exact.
Apple’s Public Relations Officer Against Martha Stewart
Finally, Stewart came to her boiling point after her last modest tweet. She stressed out that all she ever wanted was for her iPad to be picked up by an Apple representative from her home and fix it. However, her last tweet implied that she’s currently not going to have a good relationship with the company public relations officer.
“I cannot believe that Apple Public Relations is mad at me for tweeting about my iPad and how to get it fixed! Steve Jobs gave it to me!”
Quoted above was the last tweet that the respectable woman posted. She finally felt even worse and got so disappointed of the kind of service that the company can give to its customers.
Martha Stewart is actually right and has a point right there. But, it’s kind of alarming that she doesn’t know the standard procedures that Apple users have to follow when it comes to fixing their Apple devices. We think it’s about time for Mrs. Stewart to know that every
Apple user should personally bring the device to a retail store or official service center of the company.
Martha Stewart never tweeted anything again about what happened. It was probably clear to here that no one from Apple is ever going to pick up her iPad from her home. The bottom line her is that, an Apple user should be aware that the broken Apple devices should be brought to the service center personally.
Since then, Martha Stewart never tweeted anything again. What do you think of Stewart’s reaction – was it okay or just too much?
