DISPLAY
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a 6.3-inch Super TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch ppi.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display. The screen has a full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels display resolution with a pixel density of 386 ppi. The display on the Galaxy Note 3 is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

HARDWARE
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is equipped with the Samsung Exynos 5250 chipset. The phablet is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex A15 processor, Mali-T604 GPU and has 1.5 GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU and has 3GB of RAM. The Note 3 is the first smart device from Samsung to feature 3GB of RAM, raising the bar for all other smartphone manufacturers.

OPERATING SYSTEM
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with the Samsung TouchWiz UI on top of it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box and has Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it. So Galaxy Note 3 consumers do not have to worry about updating the device, not at least till Android 4.4 KitKat is out.

STORAGE
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 comes in-built storage options of 8 and 16 GB. The device also has a micro SD card support that allows you to expand the storage space by up to 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with 32 and 64 GB of internal storage, and also has a microSD card slot using which you can expand storage by up to 64GB. Hence storage expansion is an easy option and can be done as and when you wish.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has an 8MP Primary Camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 1.9MP Secondary Camera. The camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The primary camera comes with features like autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, image stabilization, HDR and most importantly support 2K as well as 4K video recording.

BATTERY
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a 3200mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has an even higher capacity Li-Ion battery, 3200mAh to be specific. We do not have the battery performance stats for the Note 3 either, but considering the way in which the Note 2 went on and on, the Note 3 should perform no different.

DIMENSIONS
The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 are 167.6 x 88 x 8mm whereas the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm.

WEIGHT
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 weighs about 199 grams whereas the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 weighs 168 grams.

CONCLUSION
Yes, the outcome of the battle was quiet obvious – we all knew that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would completely outclass the Galaxy Mega 6.3. But that was never the aim of the specs battle.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the newest smartphone from the company and also the most powerful one till date. So even though this post is aimed at comparing the two devices, our aim is to help you choose between the two. So if you are planning to get your hands on a phablet device and are planning to either go for the Galaxy Mega 6.3 or the Galaxy Note 3, then all your doubts will soon be cleared.

The most important factor in making the decision is the price tag. You can actually get two Galaxy Mega 6.3 devices for the price of one Galaxy Note 3.     Ohh! Note 3 Dual-core! U are god! Why do u think so? Do you know Qualcomm snapdragon 800? That chipset action only with quad-core! If note 3 dual-core, it won’t get that mark with antutu (about 34k)! U should check very care your posting before upload
