LG Curved Screen Smartphones: Is It Going to Be a Yay or a Nay?It was more than a month ago when Samsung and LG introduced its first curved OLED television in the market. We could still remember keeping track of its announcements and both of the companies’ versions were released to the public for about the same time.

These televisions have curved screens. However, it’s understandable that its screens are not flexible as both of its sides are placed in a frame to hold it in place. However, reported news came out after the curved television’s release. It’s not so surprising that the company is going to release a bendable and flexible screened smartphones. LG has confirmed that the top and bottom sides of the smartphone are bendable, but the sides will remain as it is and isn’t possible to be flexed. However, we are all hoping that more designs will come out soon for the LG curved screen smartphones as soon as the company starts releasing it.

“The new display is vertically concave from top to bottom with a radius of 700mm, opening up a world of design innovations in the smartphone market.”

This was the statement released by one of the company’s representatives when it released the announcement to the press.

Is the Market Ready for a Curved Smartphone? Will Consumers Grab It?

Most of the analysts are impressed with how things are going on with LG. It should turn out to be appealing because it breaks the eyes of the consumers from using the bar shaped smartphones for a number of years now.

But the question is, are the consumers ready to be more adventurous and sport a curved smartphone?

One analyst has expressed his impression about the said device. He emphasized that a screen that is slightly curved won’t convince the consumers. Rather, it might be more enticing if a curved smartphone can be flexible on all of its sides and all of the buttons should be touch screen too.

Are you ready for LG curved screen, smartphones and will you be one of those consumers who will line up for the said device soon?
