Should You Pick Samsung Galaxy 3 or Wait for the Samsung Galaxy 4?

It’s a fact that the Galaxy S3 was a huge hit last year and therefore, the best-selling smartphone for 2012. It is an extraordinary high-end handset that has both looks and specs. And even if we look back, we realize it was not that long ago this Samsung smartphone was introduced to the world. Well, I guess technology moves just too fast and now, the world is in anticipation of Samsung’s next Galaxy device, the Samsung Galaxy S4.

So, the Galaxy S3 is just as attractive as any other high-end smartphone currently on the market, but you should wait and see what its successor has to offer. Given the hottest rumors that circulate on the web, the next Galaxy S handset by Samsung is expected to impress the world on March 14.

So, the question is – what makes the Galaxy S4 special, regarding the fact that it’s still a mysterious handset whose specs haven’t been completely revealed and confirmed? Is it worth waiting for it? Here are a couple of things you would like to know before you rush into purchasing a smartphone.

The invitations for the Galaxy S4 release have been already sent and the world is going to meet the highly-rumored handset on March 14. This means the smartphone is going to hit shelves at some point in April, which means you’re going to wait only for a month or so.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is already a remarkable device but trust me, the next Galaxy S is going to give you an improved user experience, plus Samsung innovation at its best. As far as I am concerned, it is definitely worth waiting. If you have no idea what rumors are spreading about the Galaxy S4 specs, here’s a list of the rumored specs you should know:

  • 4.99-inch SuperAmoled screen
  • 2GB of RAM
  • Eight-core Exynos processor
  • 13MP camera on the back side
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS
  • A brand new security software by Samsung, called Knox

It is highly likely these specs to be featured on the Galaxy S4, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t be surprised on March 14. Samsung preps something big and we’re more than ready for it.

Otherwise, if you’re determined to give the Galaxy S3 a try or desperately in need of a new powerful handset, then I guess the S3 is the choice you should go for. However, keep in mind that there will be so many great deals for this handset once its successor gets released, so think again. Even if you’ve already picked the S3, waiting is perhaps the smartest decision at the moment.
