If you are a Blackberry fans or consumer, or are based in Canada, then you should already be knowing that the carrier company Rogers has decided to finally offer the Blackberry Z30 in the country.
Some days back, we told you that the Canadian carrier company Rogers had decided to not offer the Blackberry Z30 because of the decrease in demand for Blackberry smartphones. At that time, the carrier said that there is limited shelf space available, and the company wants to use it for the best selling and popular smartphones in the market.
All was set and finalized, but then came the people of Canada who made Rogers change its mind. A number of consumers seem to have protested against this decision, in the positive way of course. And as a result of this, Rogers changed its earlier decision of not offering the Blackberry Z30 in the country. When the company made this decision, it clearly mentioned that the move was due to the “response to customers’ feedback and excitement about the device.”
After this announcement, Rogers also talked about the long-term relationship it has had with Blackberry when the smartphone manufacturer was at its peak. Rogers also said that it would continue to provide support to Blackberry and would offer Blackberry products even when the company has been facing bad times.
Well, with all being said and done, this is definitely good news for Blackberry. There still seem to be a lot of Blackberry fans in the home country who would love to purchase the Blackberry Z30 on subsidized prices from Rogers. So the company is sure to get some more revenue, but we doubt if this will make any real difference to the current status of the company.
The Blackberry Z10 and Blackberry Q10, two smartphones that were announced by the company in January have not been doing good in terms of sales. The company has already slashed the prices of these devices in many regions by almost 50 percent, but there has hardly been any difference.
So this is the question we have for you – are you still interested in buying the Blackberry Z30? Would you want to support the company that is facing problems right now? The same company that was once at the top of the smartphone market with its Blackberry messenger and other innovative services. Or would you prefer to be on the safe side and opt for Apple or Samsung, two of the manufacturers that are guaranteed to provide the best of smartphones to you?
You can think over it and let us know in the comments below. But before you do that, be sure to take a good look at the specs and features of the company’s new flagship device, the Blackberry Z30.
