We have great news for Samsung Galaxy S4 consumers – Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware update for the international model of Galaxy S4, the one that is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset (Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was unveiled with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean pre-installed. So when this happened, the company’s flagship phablet took over the flagship smartphone. And we already know that Galaxy S4 consumers have been waiting for the update from a long time. Your wait is finally over as the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S4 is here!
But yes, this good news comes with a condition, so there is a condition that has to be met before you can be happy. You should note that the firmware update is available for the LTE-enabled version of its flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505. So this means that consumers using the Exynos chipset powered Samsung Galaxy S4 will have to wait for some time before they get a chance to experience the goodness of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Germany happens to be the first country to get this update, but we are sure that consumers based in other regions will soon start getting the update notifications. So for now, if you happen to be a Galaxy S4 consumer based in Germany or when you get the update notification (for consumers outside Germany), you can go ahead and get the update via Samsung Kies or directly over the air (OTA).
Now that you are excited about the update, be sure to take a look at the change log and the new features you will be getting as part of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Exynos powered Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Note 2
Consumers using the I9500 model of Galaxy S4 (the Exynos version) should note that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is not available for your handset as of now. A report from SamMobile says that the octa-core Galaxy S4 will also be getting this update in the next week.
The report also said that Samsung will be rolling out this important update for its previous flagship smartphone and flagship phablet as well. So the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be getting the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update next month and the Galaxy Note 2 will be getting the update sometime in December.
Be patient and get the update!
No matter which of the above mentioned Samsung smart devices you own, you should remember that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean roll out will be gradual. Once the update is official, a number of consumers will probably rush for the update. As a result, you might experience slow download speeds or might not get the update notification initially. If and when this happens, we suggest that you be patient and try again after some time.
And once you get your hands on the latest update, check it out and let us know what you feel about it. Is the new update better? Does it make your smartphone faster or is Samsung TouchWiz slower than it was before? We are waiting for your responses and interesting points in the comments section below.
