As weird as it might seem to be, the Google Nexus 5 flagship smartphone has appeared on the Google Play Store. The weird part is that this smartphone appeared on the store even before the device has been officially unveiled by the company.
Last year, in the month of October, LG and Google together came up with a new Android smartphone that changed the trend of Android smartphones in the market. This smartphone was the LG/Google Nexus 4 and was one of the best high-end devices in the market to be priced at a very good selling price.
This year, we expect LG and Google to do the exact same thing, but the only difference will be that the smartphone this time will be much better than the Nexus 4. We all know about the Google Nexus 5 and yes, it is one of the worst kept secrets from Google. But how many mistakes can the company actually make or is the company doing all this on purpose?
As you can see in the above image, the Google Nexus 5 actually appeared on the Google Play Store for a small amount of time. The Google Nexus 5 was placed alongside the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets. You might not be able to spot the Nexus 5 on the Play Store anymore, but the above image ensures that the device was listed there and is coming to a store near you very soon!
As far as the rumors are concerned, and adding the facts that KitKat has been giving away number of hints, we know the unveiling date. The Google Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat are both expected to be unveiled on the 28th of October, that’s just about a week from now.
The new Google flagship device will be available in two variants – 16GB and 32GB. The 16GB version is will be priced at $349 whereas the 32GB version is expected to be priced at $449. These prices are almost final, but be ready for last minute changes. And yes, you might not feel good after knowing this, but we have to tell you anyways. ‘The 32GB Google Nexus 5 might not have a higher capacity 3000mAh battery after all.’
